3. Managing the Language Barrier

Living in a country where you’re still learning the language can be daunting, but it doesn’t have to hold you back. In this module, we share tools, tips, and resources to help you improve your French skills, boost your confidence, and communicate effectively in everyday situations.

Adapting to a new culture takes time, but it can also be one of the most rewarding aspects of your move. This module dives into French customs, traditions, and social norms, giving you the tools to navigate cultural differences with ease and confidence.

France has one of the best healthcare systems in the world, but it works differently from what you might be used to. In this module, we guide you through applying for a Carte Vitale, understanding reimbursements, and making the most of pharmacies and medical care.

Feeling homesick or lonely is natural when you’re far from home. This module offers psychological strategies and practical tips for staying connected to loved ones, finding support in your new environment, and building a sense of belonging in France.
